IDC predicted that by 2020, 67% of enterprise infrastructure and software will be cloud-based offerings. This means, majority of business processes will be done using cloud-based applications and tools. With the way things are going, it is not surprising how cloud infrastructure deployments among organizations are ramping up.
As cloud infrastructure is becoming mainstream, deployment teams are also demanding for freedom to make cloud vendor and technology choices that could match their requirements. Now, this becomes a point of conflict between them and the organization as business goals may not be aligned with these demands.
